I hunted but couldnt find it in the forum. Sorry if Im redundant. Does anyone know if a 954 upper fairing will fit a 929?

 

a 954 upper will fit on a 929 but you have to get a 954 headlight because they are different (954 has a longer point to it at the top) there is a local guy that did it and it looked good but it isn't as easy as just getting an upper

 

So the fairing will bolt right up,..I will just have to use the 954 light? Sounds good. Thanks.

Sorry if this has also been asked b4. FNG here... :-)

Just purchased a 01 929. Bikes solid but both lowers and mids are beat to all hell. To piggy back the last question will the 954 lower and 954 mids bolt up to a 929? If so does the 929 still need to have to 954 upper including headlight? Or will the 954 mid and lower bolt up to the 929 with the 929 upper still installed? Thx!!!

 

if i remember correctly 954 have a 1 peice side fairing. they will bolt to the upper fairing by the 3 bolts (upper 3 bolts on a 929 mid) but would probly run into an issue with the other mounting holes for the rest of the fairing im sure if you got the brackets from a 954 you could attach them tothe case because the 929 and 954 case are pretty much the same

Perfect Sense. I had a closer look at the 954's a noticed the single fairing vs. the double side fairing on the 929 as you had stated. I'll just keep my eye's out on ebay for the 929 fairing. I had found a 954 but I wouldnt be comforatble with the middle area not being secured as Honda originally designed for the 929. Thx for the response, it was most helpful.
