Default 16" front wheel on 929?

Hi from Sweden

I recently bought a 2001 CBR929, and wonder if there is any 16" front wheel that fits this bike without to much work?
Hopefully without having to replace the disc and brakes.

Won't work. You would have to change the brakes and forks as well as the rim. Besides all the mods, the tire selection for a 16 is terrible. Why would you want to do that?

- Ah too bad and too much to swap.
The reason is that i like a more tilted riding position, like my ZX7R, and i ´ve heard it´s no good to lower the front on this bike. Raising the ride height will not do much different, i think.

You could drop down to a 120/60 17 in the front. It will lower the front a little and wear more smoothly. If that's not enough, get a 190/55 17 for the rear.

I don't know exactly. I use the smaller front for better wear and performance, but use the stock rear size. Do some research and compare outside diameters of each size if you want exact numbers. How much are you looking to change it?

- I´m not sure about how much lower front is needed to get the right angle for me, but i guess it would be somewhere around 1-2 inches or so.
The Blade has quite an upright positioning compared to my ZX7R.

You won't get that much by the tires. To achieve that much, you will need to lower the front. Lowering is not the best for the bike, but what you're going for isn't either.

- Someone on another forum had lowered the triples on his CBR900 without any negative effects on the handling, so maybe that´s not the worst thing to do after all. Not too much of course.
