Default 01 Erion dead, won't crank

Hey guys, was riding home and noticed my temperature was getting pretty high (260) and a red light started to flash right next to the neutral/gear indicator (mil?). Pulled into gas station, topped her off and let her cool down. Now she won't even crank. The red light is on solid, no flashes. I turn the key, hit the starter and I just hear a click from the starter relay and my headlight goes dim. I even tried running a direct line from the battery to the starter motor itself. Still nothing, just a click. Btw, the fuel pump is working as I hear it prime when I turn the key. Starter wiped out? I think I may have cooked it as my starter switch has been sticking lately. What do you guys think, as am gonna start tearing her open later.

well, that sucks. does the motor turn over by hand? push the bike and try to bump start it. if the rear wheel locks up, and the motor wont turn over, you seized the engine. if it does turn over, and start hopefully, i'll guide you through "no crank" diagnostics. let's see if the motor turns first....

I tried last night to pop the clutch by pushing it and she just sputters. The back wheel is not locking up. The fastest I could get her up to was 5 miles an hour as I was on pretty flat ground. I just wound up walking her home

Battery is fully charged. I tried starting it with it connected to my running van. Also been on the battery tender as well and it checks ok (green light). I'll check the voltage later when I get home and see where she's sitting at and where's she dropping down to. I even tried disconnecting the battery completly and jumping it with my van only and still the same thing

check all the fuses. there is a fuse in the starter relay, if i remember correctly.

btw...never jump it from a running car.

nope. thats it, you got them all. next step is to see if you have signal to the starter relay from the switch, and good voltage all the way to the starter. the switch may be the issue.
