01 929 Speedometer and code 34
I just bought a 2001 929, and its fast, lol.
I'm getting code 34 with the FI light on, also, the speedometer works very little. Most of the time it doesn't work, however I have seen it work. Any ideas of how to fix would be awesome.
My bike has shaved heads, new cam, full exhaust, K&N airbox and filter, power commander, 75 shot of nitrous, and an air shifter. If I knew how to post a pic I would, lol.

Code 34 is for the servo motor. Previous owner may have removed it when installing the full exhaust. If it were left in place and the cables removed the bike would think it still working and not cause the 34 trouble code. It will not affect the bike but the lights will be annoying.
If you just purchased the bike you had better verify what has been done to it. Your mods listed don't add up. Even a built motor with upgraded pistons and rods probably could not handle a 75 shot of NOS. If your rods and pistons are stock then its only a matter of time before it blows with that much NOS.
