Alright fellow 900rr owners what is the fastest (NO LIES ) you've had your 900 rr going I've had mine doing 140 @ about 9700 rpm's

Pegged in 6th on the front straight of BIR....speedo reading 178mph.........and no, I dont think it was going that fast. There may have been another 2-3mph to squeeze out of it givenenough room.

You ride like that on the street and you're a menace. Find somwhere else to do it so you don't endager others. No matter how empty you think a road is it might not be.

Agreed.... Personally have pegged the speed-o at 185 with just under a 1000RPM left to give. (and I gave it that extra 1000) but I KNOW I wasnt going that fast. If I was still crazy enough to do that **** anymore I'd take my aviation GPS along for the ride and see what it was but I value my life a little more now lol. And cornering on the track is more fun! [8D]

I travel the speed limit [sm=innoc.gif] It'd be pointless to top mine out with a -1 / +5 sprocket conversion. The biggest stretch at my local track I only see 110 ish then its back into the brakes. I think its top of 4th gear tho

 

tops i seen was 165 faster than i wanted to go but man it was an adrenaline rush

 

130mph , just accelerated entering a high way. i looked at the speed and let go. it did it effortless . i was surprised actually that it was already 130. felt it got lot's more to go.
it was at sea level. not here in CO. not that here it won't do over 130 easy it’s just not my type of riding ..
