Default Will CBR600 radiator work on a 900?

I bought a 98 CBR from a guy who wrecked it
and sunk money into getting it street worthy again
The only issue is finding a radiator for the bike since the original one leaks which from what I been told from my mechanic, is causing air to enter the system and confusing the thermoswitch to think the bike is cool when it is actually overheating.
I looked up all over for a replacement that is not going to cost me 800 bucks
and I found on ebay a bunch of radiators for cbr600s that look exactly like the radiator that is on the bike now.
I know you can interchange Cbr parts and a few of the new pieces I replaced on the bike are from new models but can you but a 600 on a bigger model?

There is a 900rr in the street fighter section that used a 600rr Radiator if I recall. You should look at his thread or contact him and see what he had to do to make it fit.

Just a question, though. Can you see it leaking?

The radiator was damaged when the previous owner laid it down
It's the cap and and overflow line which had snapped off. When riding, it spews coolant through the cap onto my leg.
I replaced the cap but the actual radiator is bent and stripped, not allowing the cap to stay secure.
