Who has the oldest 900?
"Back then there was nothing like it..."
Wow, that single sentence sums it up for the 900rr when it debuted.
Thanks for the information! Wow, $8,000 was a LOT of money back in 1994 and it still is a lotof money today.

I know, that's amazing. What's more amazing is there's a guy in the CBR1000F section that beats me on original ownership...he bought new a 1987 Hurricane! New! And still has it.

well it's kinda a funny story. i bought the 1st bike in april of 07 it was involved in an accident(running from the cops) it was
in an inpound yard in Indiana. i saw it on e-bay, of course they listed all the work needed to fix it (ya right), but i watched the bidding and left the seller instrucions to e-mail me if the high bidder didnt come thru. needless to say he contacted me and i bought it for $1500 + $500 to ship. so i started buying all the parts listed before i even got the bike(it was kinda a mistake) but i did it anyway.long story short i hid it from my wife for a year and couldnt get it running fast enough so i bought another one (mint) from florida. so my wife found out about 3 months ago(ya she was very pissed) and i just got it running in july. so there you go. hey i'll show you my other toy in the next post.
