i have a 1998 cbr900rr and i cant find foot pegs that are not real carbon fiber but wrapped in carbon fiber pattern thanks

well the real ones are like $130 and i am only going to have my bike only this year then i am going to sell it and upgrade. i cant find them on ebay i have been searching. but i will keep looking thanks.

 

theres prolly a reason for that tho, the fake ones are basically a reg peg/lever/mirror etc that is coated or wrapped in a vinyl or sum sort of screen print. So on foot pegs it would wear out esp on the tops n then look like shyt n be obvious they are fakes. Mirrors n levers dont wear nowhere as bad as a peg tho so.

But I remember seeing some on ebay years ago tho lol

 

my bike is black with 2-tone rims (black spokes, red surrounding it) and all the bolts are red (windscreen, fairing, engine bolts) but there is also carbon fiber peices like mirrors levers bar ends and heel guards oil cap and front and rear brake fluid covers. what should i do for the pegs should i have them powder coated red to match the rims or black. give me some ideas please?

 

powder coating or buying pegs the color you want em, not sure what you have for pegs now

right now the pegs on it are stock

 

id concider powder coating yer stock ones before goin with el-cheapo carbonfakos...i asked my powder coater for ya and he said 30 bucks for both in any colour...peeece

 

stock ones suck tho lol no feed back. I have 600RR pegs on mine n they look n work great!!!!

 

ya PG..I dig the stock 900 peg, even bought new rubber inserts for em, ive bought two different peg sets and didnt like either ones, sent em back...ive been lookin for a honda factory set thatll work on my 929...the 929,s pegs are skinny and not what im used to and suck...
