What year forks are the same?
I have a bent fork tube on my 97 900RR. I found a pair of 95 fork tubes, in good shape. Will they be a direct replacement, without replacing the triple trees?
What years had the same forks?
Thanks in advance for the help.

All year 900rr's have the same sliders. (upper 1/2 of the fork assembly)
93-95 are the same full fork due to the fender (will fit the 97 if the fender is changed as well)
96-97 are the same fork but the lower part of the fork is changed for the (full) looking fender
98-99 are the same fork as 96-97 but the tripple tree on 98-99 are wider so the tree is different.
Hope this helps out any! Any more Q just ask!

woody900rr,
Thanks a lot!! That is great!
I think I'll keep a look out for the 96 to 99 forks. That way if I change them out, I can still keep the 97 fender.
