what makes it a Fireblade?
What makes a Fireblade a Fireblade? I was riding on Sunday and some dude was telling me every 900 is a Fireblade. I know my bike has all the stock fairings and decals and it doesn't say Fireblade on it. Was he wrong or am I a big fat loser living a life of lies??? haha

Here in the US we didn't call them Fireblades, but in other countries, the 900 and above CBR-RRs are fireblades (including the 1000). You can get the OEM sticker set for non-US versions that says "Fireblade".
As far as I knew, the "Fireblade" term was originally designated to the 900 series but it was attached to the newer models by association. That was my knowledge. I think it depends on a persons integral knowledge of Honda and its history of Higher CC bikes in the past ten years. I would say an 07 1000RR is a fireblade by designation but a 20 yr old kid that just threw down 12 grand of his daddy's cash would say otherwise. You be the judge...
lolol well done sir, well done! I'll just go play in the corner with my baseball
