sorry for my Ignorance but I was putting on new fairings on my bike and found some extra pieces, found out on my own they are left and right upper cowls, but have no idea where it goes. with the old fairings it did not have it. I imaging the previous owner took them off. can some one please explain where they go. Also pictures would be a lot helpful too.

 

I assume you're talking about the filler panels. These fill in the gap between the outside edge of your upper fairing and the inside ege of your inner fairings. They cover woring and the fuse box on the right side. I'f I'm mistaken about which panels you're talking about post a picture of one and I'll let you know where it goes.
