Default Two brothers exhaust for 98 900RR question

From my understanding manyflang on exhaustrange from 96-99 and will fit on96-99 RR's. I was lookin at a Two brothers exhaust yesterday on ebay for a 98 RR, and noticed that it had a 4 bolt flang on. However, my bike with the stock exhaust only has a 3 bolt.

My question is... is there something i need to buy in order to make the 4 bolt flang on fit? Or was that just the wrong pipe all together? Thanks!

Wrong pipe. Your better off with a full system. Stainless Steel Full system with an oval carbon pipe is 650$ good value and great sound!

I find that often on ebay they just use a general picture to advertise the product, not the ACTUAL product. For example, I was looking at a V&H header for my 900, and it was advertised for my year, but the picture was way off. I emailed them, and they assured me it would fit my bike. You should email them if you are not sure.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH! and a full system would be nice. it just adds a little bit more horsepower correct? but would sound the same as a slip on? Only thing is with the full exhaust is I would have to get it rejetted. how much does that usually cost?

With a full system, you get a few benefits.... You get a reduction in weight (great for acceleration) and you do get more HP than with just a slip on. In addition I do think It sounds better with a full system. (Ive had both) You wouldnt HAVE to get the bike re-jetted but to gain every Horsepower that the bike had potential for you would be advised to get it jetted. A jet kit would run ya 75-100 bucks. Good luck and I def it is worth doing!

Alright. yea ill deff look into that!
Anyways... I am totally set on getting a two bro's exhaust now.... but which one? theres the c2..c4..c5 canisters. I know there different sizes, but is that it? I think i read something that said they will all sound the same, but are just different widths/lenghts. I was just wondering if this was true or not.

The C5 Crabon Fiber pipe looks the best in my opnion. Every 900 that Ive owned has had that pipe. I havent heard all of them but I can tell you that you wont be dissappointed by the C5. I think all the others look a little off. Is your avatar your bike's paint job? Cause if it is the black and red paint job, a full akrophobic exhaust would look great too! But I def prefer two Bros.

Yeah, the type of metal you get is totally up to you man. Im just throwing my opinion out there. The only thing I can tell ya is that the Carbon fiber disperses heat a little better so the chick on the back wont burn her leg as bad. Just my 2 cents. Good luck with the buy man!!
