Default Turn indicators not working...

Hi, I got my blade about three weeks ago and have always noticed the turn signals take several seconds to react after turning the switch. Now the indicator lights won't come on at all, although there is a fast ticking noise (as if like a bulb was blown). Could this be a bad relay? Thanks in advance for any help.

Do you have led signal?

Ok, I've tried a new relay but it's not helped. Sometimes the indicators come on after about 10 seconds but not always. I'm pretty confused over this one...

Mine have a slight delay, probably no more than a second but that is to long. That split timing is essensial. You can travel a good few yards in a second any help.

Does the little light on the display flash? If no lights whatsoever come on you might start checking for a loose connection somewhere between the flasher relay and the signals. It has to be a main connector somewhere if none of the signals are working, both front and rear.

Sometimes a loose ground connection will cause intermittent problems like you described.

90% is connection...but if filament bulb & blinking fast...bulb may need replacing too.

I would replace the bulbs if you do not plan on going led, if you want to go led, this is good time to do it...if it clicks, your stock relay is good...but if you go led, then you may need to replace a led ready relay $12...

Know I would start at the signal socket...take out the bulb. Press signal...start on either side L or R....get a 12v tester from Harbor Freight $2...check the positive I there is electrical, then work your way back to the fuse box...check connection or loose ground...

But before doing all that, is your signal button sticky? It can also be a bad connection internal of you L/R button...

Sounds like your switch contacts are bad/dirty.

Thanks for the input guys, you're really helpful. I've just rode home from work and made a strange discovery. When I pull the clutch in and the revs drop the indicators kick in. Could it be something to do with a change in voltage? Or maybe vibrations working on dirty contacts?
