Default Tough Decision

I recently picked up an 08 600rr graffitie and hate it! The bike is mint, stock, and too small for me (thats what I hate about it). I got a deal on it so I'm going to sell it either now or spring time. I want a bike to feel like a bike again. I'm 6'1 200 lbs and have been ridding street for about ten years. My first bike was a yellow 98 900rr. I always liked that bike. Now I've got a good deal lined up on a 900 but I've also got someone with a 929 that wants to trade for my 600 and give me some $$$. My question is what would you do? What do you like better between the two bikes and why? I know I like the look of the 900 way better than the 929 but the 929 has inverted forks and is fuel injected. At the same time the 900 imo is way more comfortable. Each have plenty of power for the way I ride. Comute to and from work, an occasional wheelie nothing too crazy, hittin the twisites on a nice afternoon, maybe once a year at the drag strip or mid ohio.

Deadspot, those are not inverted forks. Look at your buddy's FZR in the background...those are inverted forks.

my mistake then, and his fork tube are noticably bigger also. maybe i thought that cause the bottom where the axel is, is so much larger than my F2 was. hmm

No worries. The CBR's forks were designed to look like inverted forks. Your forks are actually larger than your buddies. You have 45mm forks and the FZR has 43mm. The reason his look much larger is because you are seeing the top of the forks going into the triple clamp, which on his bike are actually the bottoms. Confusing, isn't it! ;-)

the 900 has the most sophistocated forks for the time that are not inverted, if you have ever seen the internals they are really closly linked to the inverted setup
