Doing some carb maintenance, and noticed that one of the two intake valves for each cylinder has significantly more deposits than the other (in some cases, one valve is completely clear of deposits.) My guess is due to whatever turbulence is present during intake, one valve path is favored by the fuel, and hence it gets cleaned from the detergents in the gas, while the other side remains dry.
