tires
gotcha, thanx. just another good reason not to move up to a busa. buddy is replacing his every 1800 miles. can't complain tho. the 900 is ballzy as hell and extremely stable. it's all any human being needs. and i've been riding bikes since i was 7 years old. but a man must move from a xl-80, up the ranks. i had one of the first v-4 intercetors, always moving up and did the whole fz, and gixxer thing all the time with better handling and performance, but after the fireblade i don't know how much more there is to go(even tho i know there is) but being 34 years old and not 24 may be getting to be an issue. the blade is a real dreamy bike which is why i've been holding it till now. the busa seems a bit more comfy tho '. maybe just the age thing again, or is it the money..................lol
if you don't risk going too far ,you'll never know how far you can go!

I hear ya with the blade. I loved mine. In hindsight, probably should have kept it, but the Zook was calling my name. It is a superior bike in every way shape and form, but my 900RR was fun as hell. Lot's of good memories on that bad boy. I learned to wheelie/stoppie/drag a knee/rear steer all with that bike. Too nice.
i have just got a cbr 929 rr 02,
it came with bt14 on front and back, i have as much grip as ice skates on a ice rink,
rear tirepressure is 42 0n the back as it say,s in the hand book.
what is the best tire for grip.
