Default Swap my f3 for a blade??

Okay so i had a 1997 cbr 600 for a year and a bit and i fell in love with it, we took the world by storm now its gone track side (sunk 2k into it i love it that much) ridding a cbf 600 now and wanna drive it off a cliff!

Okay so my restriction is up in march and i wanna go big zx9r and tl1000r is coming in at £800 insurance so blade should be around same i guess?

What they like weight, power delivery and it will be a daily commuter!

My f3 lasted 50k miles then did the anglesey grande and was fighting with a pre injection 750, will i see this kind of quality from the 900?

I wanna know everything there is please thankyou

If you want a 900rr, first you have to get to know our founder, the amazing Tadeo Baba....his concept in a sport bike blueprints even today's modern design sportsbike...which is weight centralization...consolidating all the mass weight into the center, shed weight where it is not necessary....thus not to sacrifice handling....power to weight ratio...

It's been a long time since 1992...by back then, the first 900rr weight in just 6lbs more than the 600cc class, flexing a 898cc engine & weight centralization....I don't know if in any way the 900 will be as comfortable as the F3 in regards to commute, but talking about handling & cornering...it still keeps up with today's modern sports bike

The problem is its a old bike, you need to be patience to find one in ok condition, but it is out there...well TLC these Hondas will out last us...

IDK about the 1R but once you go 900rr, you ain't going back.

But safety is always more important than cosmetics, so I recommend taking it more conservative & do all the necessary checks before hitting the road...

BTW: Tadeo Baba design is from 1993-2002....

Well, I'll input my 900rr upbringing. I had a 2007 ZX6R for a little over a year. I absolutely loved that bike. It was stolen the night I moved to S.C. and I was furious. A good friend of mine said he had a bike but it had been sitting a while and it was old and needed A TON of TLC. He showed me his 95 900RRS and I thought it was a bit of a junk heap. We pulled the seat out, popped in a new battery, poured in some 110 octane and it fired right up, first try, no joke. I was absolutely amazed. I jumped on it and took it for a little stroll. About 5 miles. I was hooked. It handled better, took off like a rocket, and just felt all around better then my ZX. I am 5'8" and around 145lbs and molded perfectly to the bike. BTW, the bike when I bought it, had 65K on the clock. It now has 80K and purrs like a kitten and on the throttle roars like a beast. Estate is not joking about these things out lasting us. I will never ride anything else. I paid $600 for it and have dropped over $3000 in her.

i have just recently changed from a cbr 600 fy and cbr1000f sold them both and bought a 1996 918,fantastic bike only has 23000 mls on it and so easy to ride dosent feel any heavier than the 600 ,looked for a while to find this one as there is a lot of junk out there as well ,so take your time , guy i bought it of couldnt ride it anymore as it hurt his shoulders so they dont suit everyone ,i find it really comfy but ime only 5 ft 8ns and 10 and a half stone so maybe this is why..

I'm 5'10 195lb...the factory seat is about 1in--1/2 higher and, leaning towards the tank say about a good 1inch. So when I'm riding the stock seat, I can move side to side much easy...more like my old F2...

After I got the Corbin seat...you seat lowered, back, so when you place you foot on the pegs, you sit more of a tuck in position, more aggressive I guess but I like it a lot.

I think eighter way, the rider needs time to gel with the bike. I think all bikes, no matter how experience you are, if its a bike you never ridden, take time to get used to...I mention the Corbin because its an alternative I you want to sit lowered a bit but you'll be back off the tank, so you may need to adjust the handlebar..IDK...but over all...it's a joy to ride, every time. Never gets old...even after 18years

I grew up riding my friends 600's. Finally after 19yrs I bit the bullet and got my first 900RR. I'm 5'9" and 135lbs and this bike fits pretty good. I dont think I could ride anything smaller then a 900. I say go big or go home. LOL. I did sit on a ZX3 this weekend at local dealer. What a joke. It felt like a scooter. Weighed maybe 200lbs..
93-94 were the first yrs and had some issues. the 95 came out with better suspension. I got mine as a collector Item, But I'm loving it more everytime I ride it. I even thinking of selling my 91 Galant VR4 and trying to find a nice 94 900RR in RWB. good luck with search, take your time and it will find you. Vinman
