that sucks dude, what a dumb MF for thinking he could drive off like that. You make a mistake like that and the least you can do is stop. At least you walked away from it and you can repair the damage. Good luck with it all.

Wow. It always amazes the complete lack of respect motorcyclists and bicyclists get on the roadways. I hope that a**hole has to face up to some pretty serious criminal charges beyond leaving the scene of an accident, and hope you are able to collect from him or your insurance to repair the damage. Looks like it was a hard crash, pretty amazing that you were not seriously injured.

Dumb *** probably has no money, so take him to court and get everything he owns, including his Chevelle. A Chevelle in good condition can be worth $10,000 or more. Get a lawyer and have the judge take his car away from him and give the proceeds to you. A court deputy can go to his home or the court parking lot and seize the car right on the spot.
