I'm not sure how the wiring currently routes but you could try bundling everything together and buy some flexible plastic tubing at an auto parts store and wrap any wiring with it. Another option is to buy a used harness and use it to extend the wiring your are working with. That will allow you to have more length and open your routing options up a lot more.

hey i got the same bike fightered. i put mine under the tank in front of the coils (in that little pocket area). i'll get a pic for you.

EDIT: well i can't find the digi, but i'll tell you how i hid mine.

take the tank off. remov the plastic shield piece and the rubber flappy ****. then bundle the wire harness up and ziptie it to the rail that the coils attach to. if you keep everything in front of the coils you shouldn't run into any melting problems (i haven't had any probs yet). i also had to trim my airbox hoses a little to get it to fit right.

i have this headlight (its DOT approved) and the only wires behind it are the igntion and headlight wires, so you can get 95% of the harness out of the way. i just routed the wires around the frame by the radiator.

once i locate my digi i'll get a pic. it's easier to show than to describe.

why'd you decide to take everything off?

i made a streetfighter out of my 929 and i had to cut the harness in the front and shorten the wires. i also cut out all the harness plugs andhard wired everything. it takes real committment to do this stuff. most people won't start hacking a factory harness, but if u want that look. i have some MIG lights from germany if your interested. to see what they look like check out spieglerusa.com and go undr lighting. they're awesome.

yea i really like true streetfighters. but i must admit mine does not fall into that category. eventually it will get to that stage, but thats a ways off... no two fighters are the same which is why i like them so much, not so cookie cutter. my digi is still mia, but once i find it i'll def. post up some pics.

those MIG lights aint cheap thats for sure! are they worth the money??
