Default Stands Question

I am considering buying stands for my bike so it will easier to work on. To behonest though I have never had a set. Could somebody give me some knowledge on what I should look for when buying stands and anything else I need to know before getting them and using them? Thanks.

also try handyindustries.com they sell a pair for around $89. I ordered a set last fall and love them. If you want something that will last forever and you have the money for them, go with pitbull. Flyncycle.com also has a set for $89 or a motogp set for 119.

For the money T-rex is good stuff. Very similar to Pit Bull for half the money.

I'm away from the bike for a couple of days. I think I'm going to go with the Pitbulls. Do I order the ones for spools or the ones made for no spools?

do you have spools on the rear of the bike? they kind of look like bar ends only smaller.. i dont know if the RR had holes for spools or not though. its always easier to go with a universal though, cant go wrong that way....

No, the RR does not come with spool bosses from the factory. Universal with the pads work the best. Get one that will do both though so that when you sell this bikeand get one with bosses, you can still use it.

Well here's what I did. I ordered a Cycle Cat rear stand and a front PitBull fork lift. Yeah it was expensive, yes I was thinking I can't believe I spent that much money... but I think I made a good choice. They should be here in a week.

Thank you for the input everyone.
