Default spark plug change

having never changed the plugs on my bike I spent the outrageous $8 per plug and got honda NGK's anyways I fouled a plug earlier by giving throttle while the choke was on oooppss!!

anyways I tear the plastic off and the seat and tank to discover the plugs are dman hard to get to. UNable to remove that plastic/rubber divder I basically ripped it out without causing damage. It looks like hell to get it back into place. Is this divider important? Is this the correct method of changing plugs?

I'm changin the plugs now and wanted to see if I need to struggle and get the divider back in befoer I put her back together
someon lemme know I hope I can do wihtout i its a BITCH to get out/in

thx!!!

Well, the way I do it is the easiest I think.
I also have a 94.
All you need to do is:
Remove the middle side fairings
pull the boots off the plugs
put in the socket that came in the tool pouch on the spark plug
loosen it with the 8mm or 10mm wrench that also came with the tool pouch
when it is loose & spins easy, put a piece of rubber hose on the plug & twist off

To put them on:
put a rubber hose around the spark plug (it will hold it snugly)
lower that in the spark plug hole & twist
when it seats firm, pull out the hose & tighten with the socket & wrench that came with the tool pouch

put the mid fairings back on

Default RE: spark plug change

i took my plugs out a number of times because i hate ngk's sorry for those ngk lovers out there. I used a regular socket with a flex extension and rachet. then when the plugs were out i pushed the plug boots back in and pulled the plug out easy.
