Default Snapped Clutch Cable

So, I snapped the clutch cable on my 1995 900. I don't feel like paying 90 bucks for the service on top of $30 for the cable so I think I'm going to try to install it myself. I am not very good at mechanics but I can follow instruction well. It seems easy enough to install but is there anything I should be aware of? Is there anything that will make my installation easier?

Thanks all,
Brian

make sure you run it through the same path its goes through right now. i just changed mine on my 96. DO NOT buy one off ebay the adjustment screw broke during install lol. Honda charged me 36 for the cable. on your clutch lever turn the **** all the way in then back it out one turn. make the adjustments to main adjustment screw so that you have 3/8 to 6/8 of an inch of play in your clutch lever.

also be sure you dont kink or bind up the cable anywhere as well. and keep them clean and lube them every now and then the new cables should last for the rest of the life of the bike.
