Lightbulb Should i buy '94 cbr 900 rr $1800??

Came across a 1994 cbr900rr for $1800. It has a strong running rebuilt motor, aftermarket exhaust, body is in perfect condition. The only said issue is that it needs a new clutch. Is there a lot of risk in this purchase?? Thanks

Does it run? Rebuilt engine? Most important is that you want to buy & ride....not buy other people's headache...

If the motor was rebuilt , why wouldn't they replace the clutch ?Might have some tranny issues. Seems a little sketch.

Wink

+1...you would think why not replace clutch before selling?? That's why I ask does it run? These are hondas and I would buy original miles....rebuilt engine doesn't guarantee any reliability...and does it certify odom reading?

Many friend said I overpay for my 94' but if you are happy with bike and it's reliable...priceless... Buy & ride....then follow with maintenance

When I bought my 93.. I was told it needed a clutch as well. After tearing the case off.. inspecting.. etc.. and putting it back together seeing nothing out of the ordinary.. I found out on these forums that the noisy clutch is actually normal. SO perhaps.. like my seller.. the seller just doesnt know this?
