Default She is dead please help me

My baby will not start she tries to turn over but nothing happens

I rode it the other night and everything was fine she ran great no problems. today i got her out and washed her then attempted to start it to leave and she would not start all she does is attempt to turn over. At one point she kicked on but she was sounding sick then she shut off completely. I tried choking her on and everything but nothing but some sick sounds that have me scared. The final time i tried to turn her on she just back fired and made a crazy sound like when the light go out in a big building or something.

Please Please Please give me an idea to what is wrong with my baby.

She has oil
has not ran hot
fuel should be good
have not thrown a rod or anything like that because i have not riden it hard for a couple of days

HELP

True as Havoc stated... Sounds like maybe a flooded plug wire. But it could be something else. Did you use a high pressure hose to wash it?

Check all your fuel lines at the gas petcock. You should have four lines connected to your tank. (Two at the petcock and two other vent lines) The big line going to the carbs is the main fuel line while there is a little vaccum return line. If that vaccum line is off you wont get any fuel. Hope this helps.

Not all years have that vacuum line for the tank.

I know this sounds so stupid, but is your killswitch engaged???
Last year I practically gave myself a heart attack from being so angry about not being able to figure out why my 900rr wouldn't start. I finally noticed to killswitch... and slapped myself in the face.

good advice just not for this situation. if that was the case the bike wouldnt even attempt to turn over which by the op stated did happen

I didnt use a high pressure hose to wash it, i used a regular garden hose without the nozzle on the end.

I was wondering if bad plugs would make my bike not start. Because this morning i went out and attempted to start it on m way to work and it just started back firing and that was it. I almost sounds like a car with a bad set of plug, off timing and or mixed up plug wires. Since i have not touched the timing or the plug wires i am kinda guessing that I may have fouled some plugs some how.

Can i get a co signer on this suggestion or even some more suggestions like the ones listed above because every suggestion that i have gotten sounds great.

Thanks guys because i need the help

Well if you haven't touched the plugs in a while its always a good idea to change them. Pull the wires off also and see if maybe some water got in there. That'll create a nasty missfire also.
