Residue on the outside of carbs
I was taking a look at the carbs today, just the exterior of the carbs, they are mounted and installed.
I was peeking through the fairings, when I noticed at the bottom of the carb assembly, I could see what looked like residue from when something leaked, something possibly oily.
The residue didn't evaporate so that's why I think it is oily and then dust settled on it.
It looks sorta old. Is this normal? The bike has 20,8xx miles and runs perfectly.

LOL you guys crack me up!
I actually gave her a little TLC today, spraying Simple Green on the white rims which are super white now, lubing the chain and adding white touch-up paint to the tank and fairings.
She was glowing! This bike is the one.
Hopefully I shall never need another...

I'm sooooo into this bike dinez, I wanna park it inside my home!
Honestly, that day was the first real day I had to spend all the time I wanted with it.
Got to take my time riding it slow, then fast, then cleaning it and getting to know it.

normally I'll be using a tooth brush to clean all the tough area.
Nice to hear you are really into your bike. How many hours you spend with her in a day??
