Default Rear brake adjustment

I had my 99in getting an oil change at the honda dealership. Since it was there i asked them to tighten the chain as well. When I riding it home i noticed the my rear brake seamed to grab less than before. In fact if fells like i have no rear break. Is there anything on the rear break that would need to be adjusted with the chain being tighted?

I had the same problem after tighting my chain, and I have found no answers to the problem yet. A couple suggestions though are check and make sure all your brake lines are not kinked anywhere and bleed your systems just to make sure there is no air. I did both of these to no avail. I also put new pads on and rebuilt the calipers. Still no change. Im about to install some SS lines all around and hopefully that will bring some grabby feeling back. If that does not work Im going to adjust the pedal at the master cyl. but if you do that be carefull cause you can potentially damage the master if the assembly goes to far into it.

Other than 89's issue I've never heard of that happening. Can you slack your chain out back to where it was to see if the breaks grab again. That could prove or disprove the chain issue affecting the brakes.

I just talked to a friend at work who has been in sportbikes about since they started making them. he thinks that the adjustment was uneven and that the disc is just a little tweeked.since it would be tweeked the caliper would not put pressure on the entire disc just the front and rear corners. I will be checking tonight when i get home, hopefully that is all it is.
