Default RE: Fork Compatibility 93' CBR900rr

Same old story... wrecked and need to replace the front forks. I need to know which year forks I can interchange with. I hear stories of caliper incompatibilities, etc. I figured I'd ask who has experience with this stuff. As I've researched, first two years had 41mm Showa forks and 95-97 had 46mm forks. If I decide to use the 46mm, does this mean I need 95-97 upper and lower triple trees, clip-ons, etc? or do they just swap over without problems? I also researched that the 1997 VFR750 and 800's later on also had Showa 41mm forks... are they the same and direct replacements for the CBR900rr's 93-94? Anything you know would be appreciated before I waste away money on wrong parts... Thanks in advance.

UPDATE
I just spoke with Lindemann @http://www.le-suspension.com/
They're very known in the motorcycle industry for suspension work on racing motorcycles. They informed me that the tubes itself are all the same up to '99. So everyone replace away to the newer updated suspensions!
