Many post to choose from, search Oil and you will get a hundred opinions from previous threads. It depends on how much money are you willing to spend for an oil change. If your cheap like me, buy Rotella T6 at Walmart, 5w40 and change it every 2 thousand miles. Never using any oil that has the label as energy saving because that can and will make the wet clutch slip.

Yeh i read an artical on the energy savings oil but i went to walmart to look and it seams the only oil that dosnt have it anymore is the high milage stuff and maybe one or two off brands. i know i pay more for the "motorcycle" oil but i have had great success with klotz over the years from my dirt bikes to my road bike. never had anything fail on my bikes.but i hear ya there is alot of construding points on oil. the main thing to do is stick with what works for you i guess. i just thought i would put my two cents out there. Another thing is klotz was like the founder of synthetics. they dont need to advertise like amsoil and purple.lol people who use it swear by it. and no i dont work for klotz hahaha
