No 900rr for me :(
Oh well it didn't pan out people, I didn't buy the '93 Honda cbr 900rr (red, white, blue colors) for $2500.00 and parts.
The bike was not what I thought it would be
I checked it out today and rode it for a good 20 minutes. It's very fast, much faster than the 600f2 and when I hit the throttle hard damn my butt nearly slid off the seat!
It's also extremely nimble and feels even lighter and more nimble than the Honda cbr 600 f2!
It feels way smaller and shorter too.
The balance....very good. Easy to turn in low speeds, easy to keep it on two wheels in heavy traffic.
The more I rode it the more fun it was.
Engine did have some ticking though when I pulled in the clutch...not sure what that is.
The thing that was hard, was it had no turn signals and one of the front headlights was gone, damaged in a crash. And there were a couple tears in the fairings... that are starting to spread.
Also, the brakes on this particular bike were terrible. Very mushy front and sticky lever for the rear. I didnt' feel safe braking with this thing. Probably lack of maintenance.
Frame also got nicked by the bar end...during a recent crash.
Rear tire worn, chain needs tightening, front fairings scratched to hell, stator cover scratched, trunk tweaked from crash.
Too many things to fix
I'll pay more for a bike with less headaches
