Been a honda man since 18 now im 43
history of hondas far to many and had a few years away had a 2000 R6 for two years great on the track days and then a TL1000R but two years ago bought my teenage dream a BLADE.
bought her standard 1995 CBR 900 RRR ni black and burgandy, 19k on the clock reasonable.
What a lovley ride all that i expected, smooth comfy and quick.
ive used her to cover 80 miles a day ever since , shes faultless starts first time every time and i do ride come **** or shine all weathers.
however like most of you out there the urge to mod and trick is to strong.
what i like
i love the fox eyes i love the engine and there easy to work on
so what have i tried
i love the idea of under seat exhausts so
ive converted the rear sub frame and hung two under the back, and they sound sweeeeeeeeet.
i wanted to keep the rear swing arm didnt fancy doing the single swing job didnt look right still wanted to keep its charecteristics.
as said i use her every day and so she dont get cleaned often thats a crime so ive been out and bought a crash damaged comuter ( again honda but a cbr 1000f this will give me the chance to take the blade of the road give her the respecter that she needs enough said on the 1000f ill save that for the other group) .
ive seen plenty of cool ideas on this forum and lookforward to chatting about how toos like the digi dash and angle halos and many moor.
forgive the scruffy pic but she does scrub up well and boy she goes plenty quick for me.
for those of you out there that are concerend with weight and speed and wethere its a 916 954 or any other version keep your eye on the ball and take it from an seasoned biker they are all BLADES and thats what matters, its not how quick i goes its how big are you *****.
