Need help with Regulator Wiring.
1994 CBR 900rr
Ok, so I need a little help with regulator wiring. I have a good idea where everything needs to be wired to, but keep getting sparks on battery when connecting because I have a short somewhere. Any help would be appreciated. Here is what I have so far.
Slightly different regulator, but same idea.

Ok, so say the three prongs are on bottom and two on top. I have one Red/White cable connected to top left. Im not quite sure where the green cable goes. Either the other prong on the top, or the prong just above the Red/White. Than we have 3 yellow cables that go the the rest. If someone can check a manual or cable diagram, that would be awesome. Thanks so much.

Can't swear to the 900, but the 98F3 harness has 3 yellow wires, these go to the stator. Doesn't matter what order they are hooked up in.
The red/white is the positive connection and the green is negative connection
to the battery. The R/R you have should be marked and/or have documentation
showing what each terminal is for.
My original connector shows the 3 stator wires on terminals across the TOP
row (next to the release catch) and the red/white on the bottom/left, green bottom/right with the bottom/cntr empty. (this is facing the R/R in the same orientation shown the photo, NOT the illustration).

Here's a photo of my old one with the connector.
