Default NEED HELP: Front end adjustment

I have a '98 900rr. I just got new tires the other day. I put the front tire on and followed the instructions to the letter. It seems that one of the brake pads is rubbing on the rotor, causing it to heat up. I have redone it three times now and can't seem to get it right. When I am riding down the road, if I pull the clutch in and coast it slows down way faster than it should. I think the problem is the clearance between the rotor and the caliper mount. The manual states that there should be .7 mm of clearance between the caliper mount and the brake rotor, one both calipers. Any help would be greatly apprieciated. Thanks

Loosen the axel pinch bolts on the front........roll the front end up against a wall and rock it back and forth with OUT using the front brakes. Tighten them back up. The forks may be just a bit out of alignment. Try that and see if that fixes it for you.

Been doing any riding? Should hit up and meet in Deleno one of these weekends.
