Sup everyone Sean here needing help in changing the oil and the oil filter in my 95 cbr 900rr. Lets just say this is my first time performing this and I don't know even where to even begin. I don't even know where the location of my filter is. In addition, how many miles should it hit before performing another oil change? And how much oil should I use?

I change my oil every 1500 or so but you can go to 3000. The filter is right up front between the headers, makes a mess when you take it off if you don't plan ahead. I usually put some foil on the headers below the filter to catch the oil and drain it to the pan. the oil drain is on the bottom on the kickstand side. Make sure you get a new crush washer to replace the old one. They cost about 1 dollar at a dealer.
There has always been an oil debate, so do your own research for what oil to use. A cheap good one is Shell Rotella T 15w40 from wal-mart, I didn't think so till I tried it, I'm a believer now. I was spending a lot of money on Repsol oil before. But do your own research first.
Do not use Fram filters! On that there is no debate.

Not sure of your 893cc engine but for 918cc is 3.5 liter at draining and 3.6 liter at oil filter change.
Be sure to get a big enough oil pan to catch the oil as well. My first encounter ended up with the whole floor messed up with the oil and extra work for the wifey.
