Default Need Help Bad!!!

I have a 1995 900RR and when i'am in 2nd gear sometimes 3rd it will come out of gear and go into neautral, Some times just jump around, My buddy says it's from having a very bad sprocket and a extreemly stretched chain is this true or what is wrong???

Yup, Its definitly the tranny..most likely the shift forks, same thing happend on my old bike when i started shifter in the air...when your getting it fixed i recommend having the gears undercut, better shifting...
