Hey everybody, I am new to this forum and I can't say how much this website and it's members have helped me in learning alot of information regarding my bike. I just purchased a 1993 CBR900RR with 12,000 miles. Unfortunately, it does need a good amount of work to be done to it. So I am asking if anybody can help me out in finding the parts listed below at good prices or if they know where I can go to, to get theses parts. I might not word it correctly, but feel free to correct me.

1- Mirror Stay
2- Ignition? (whatever it is bc the key broke inside the hole)
3- Guage Bracket? ( guages are moving around)
4- Front fairing
5- Windscreen
6- Chain/sprocket
7- The thing that you rev with ( lol have no idea what its called)
8- Right brake foot lever


So, if you guys can help me out, it would be greatly appreciated.

 

i suggest start by looking on ebay and craigslist. also take a look in the for sale thread on here members are always selling different parts usually for good deals.

i believe the fairing stay is what the gauges and mirrors bolt up too. and since you need a new front fairing have you thought about upgrading to a newer front end?

another good place you should check with for parts is your local motorcycle recycle shop.

I have and seen some incredible conversions of the front end to a 99 CBR front end. To the extent of my knowledge that is all I know of. If you know any upgrades I will be more than glad to look into. Thanks HAVOC.

 

well thats kinda what im talkin about but there are 2 different styles for the newer headlights. the 99's do look great much more sleek but the "fox eyes" from the dramatic chnage over looks nice too. either way you go it will be a drastic improvment over what you have (no offense lol)

i remember there is a link here somewhere about what all is needed for a chnage over. i believe the title thread is called "fairing change or conversion" somethign along those lines.

I started with a 94 that was just a polished frame and motor and went to a 96 front end and a 98 rear tail (my preference) and before I was done in three months I spend about 2 grand and have a brand new bike all through ebay. I try to post some pic before and after. Johnny
