ok this is the story,
my dads girlfriend said that she had a bike in the garage that her ex left behind when he left and was asking 1500 for it but we paid 1000 for it, so we check it out and it is sitting in the garage under boxes, carpet, dust, etc. the type of stuff that would accumulate over a bike that has been sitting for 8 years!! so under that stuff we realize its a cbr 900rr! and the guy who left it left it with a full tank of gas because he crashed his hurricane and got scared so he parked it with 12000 miles on it. so we got it home and first thing i did was rip it down to the carbs and clean and check them out which there were a few gunked up jets but nothing to bad. we got the bike home on sunday night and by monday morning i had it running. then it turned into a waiting game, K&N, KREEM tank liner "because the tank was rusted out BAD" and finally a battery. well i got the air filter and then the kreem which works awesome by the way. now i am waiting for the battery so i am posting pics of the bike in the garage when we uncovered it, on the stand when i got it down to the carbs and finally yesterday when its complete except for the new battery.

lol no thanks i cant wait to ride it, the batt arrives today and i am probably not goin to sell this ever or not for a couple of years
