the circumstances were absolutely perfect.. i was on my way from my job on the south shore of long island to the north shore.. im traveling east on the northern state and am doing a solid 95 due to absolute emptiness... sure enough one exit before huntington i blow past what i (think) is just an S5 and as i look back i realize its a freakin R8... so i slow down to about 60 and he just GUNS it and that thing freakin exploded... i downshifted and opened the throttle wide and struggled to keep up with him... it didnt really feel like i was in the power band... but only for 1k or so... i stuck to his back bumper but holy crap that thing can move. sooooo basically im wondering how powerful your guys 900's are in 5th gear around 60... and also if by chance any of you have had the joy of racing an R8 (the v8 or V10)

 

I've rolled with a built Infiniti G35 ... it was pretty quick but I had enough power on my bike just to play with him ... other than that , i've just raced a bunch of 'vettes (lame) ... there's not much around here with the ***** to run with a bike ...

Shoulda tried him in 4th maybe lol ...

 

i maybe would have even been in 3rd.

 

but a buddy of mine is a cop and he has one of the srt chargers as a police car. i know for a fact my 900 is faster. my 600 could beat him (barely, but it could)
