Made em myself....Demon eyes halo's on a 900rr
There are a couple of posts in the how to on making these lights, I actually accidentally found the article the other day and decided to give it a try... I used acrylic plexiglass instead of the plastic curtain rod that heused cause it seems to take the heat from the halogen bulbs that sit right behind them a little better. Anyways, check it out
The most difficult part I would say was opening the headlight housing...I wish I took picures during the process but I didnt, sorry
. But if you have basic electrical knowledge like what positive and negative are than you can pull this off. takes more patience than anything else
. on a scale of 1-10 I give it a 3 or 4...probably a 3...follow the how to and the rest is easy...BTW...in the how to they dont tell you that you need a 220ohm resistor and that the mcd number on the LED package stands for the brightness...for example the leds i used were rated at 3.5 volts and 1100 mcd brightness...I allmost got the 3000mcds but I was still trying to figure this part out, the resistor will knock the forward power from the 12V power source to a tollerable level that wont pop the LED...also the other thing I did was leave the reflective tape off which worked out pretty well cause when the main lights are on they pick up that light too....Scared?...dont be...its easier than you think
