A stock 900RR has 16" rims and there are few tire manufacturers out there that our willing to cooperate with that rim size. So our tire selection is limited. The pilot power to the best of my knowledge is only produced in a 17"i know the pilot sport is but it is not an agressive enbough tire for me., the same goes for the Perelli Diablo corsa 3s and the Avon Vipers, I could probably sit here all night and list tire companies that dont produce a tire for the stock 900rr. To the best of my knowledge Dunlop is the only one that does with the Qualifier. I hear of people getting crappy waer out of there qualifiers. However, I have had mine on my bike for about 6000 miles. I accidently ran over a sharp object the other day so it did put an end to this set but there was still alot of life left in them. (maybe another 1000). However I do alot of gentle freeway riding so my tires may not be a very good representation of the whole line.

I ran the BT-56's on my 900 and did not like them at all. They didnt feel very good to me cornering. Dunlop 208ZR's after that and I like them......the Qualifiers were also quite good on there. Held up NICE at the track.

I run Diablo Corsa's on my GSX-R and Pilot Powers on my wifes R6........both are very nice and each has it's own set of ups and downs.

I've had great luck with the pilot powers, the 2ct are great tires but for street use they aren't necessary.

All those tires won't have much difference for street riding...

You could run a Diablo Corsa on the front and a Diablo on the back. The GSX-R took good to that. I would rather have a front tire stick (Corsa is softer but does require more heat to work good) and a harder one on the back for riding to work more often just for longevity sakes.
