Default interchangable parts?

I have a 1997 900rr and was wondering what other parts are interchangable with this bike. For instance, will 600rr wheels fit my bike, what about undertails, and stretched swingarms, etc........ please help. I am having trouble finding aftermarket parts for this bike. noone has anything. They make parts for the 6 & 1000, but not mine. any one?????

They are quite a few parts available for them you just have to know where to look. Sometimes you need to think outsdide the box. But the parts are there. www.oppracing.com is a good palce to start.

What is it that you need? Do you want new or used? Where are you located? Do you want stock or high proformance? There are salvage yards in the tri-state area that have alot of parts for 900 rr's 1993-1999..

Undertails are all the same. I have a 94 with a 98,99 tail and the under tail will fit it all. My front forks and triple tree are from a suzuki GSXR and with small mods it's on my bike. My rear wheel is from a 2001 929 and it bolted great with the axle bolt from the 929. Everything is possible. Johnny

If you want new cams try www.erionracing.com cams aren't cheap though so prepare yourself for some sticker shock.

Also do not let anyone talk you into the FCR flatslide carbs.. huge waiste of money for a street bike. Those carbs will only work properly from 4,000 rpms and higher... racing only. They won't run for crap on the street.

You could have some cylinder head work done to improve performance. Port and polish the head, larger valves etc. Erion Racing can do the work I think, i think they even have a bare 900rr head used that has had some work done to it.
