Ah. I felt bad when I sold mine too. They are SO fun......makes me wonder why I sold it somedays. Very nice ride in deed.

Good luck with the 1000.

That is making me feeling good... I am the lucky guy landed on Cloud's 900 RR. If everything goes well by the end of week the bike will be sitting in my garage!!! WOOT!

I was checking out the decals for mid fairing. Since Cloud's 900 is flawless, I don't want to ruin the fairing by drilling it and put up sliders... I just bought a set of 929 fairings, and supposely they should fit 900 RR. but when I am buying the decals, they say the decals will not fit the 9292 mid fairing.... !?

Any idea on this subject? would a 900 decals fit on 929 mid fairing?

Kuan the fairings you bought are from a 1998 CBR900RR not a 929. They will fit.

Here is a link to a pic of the fairings on a bike.

This is what yours look like right? The decals were specific to that one year but the panel itself fits the 1999 model as well.

Please dont mix-n-match that bike. In the years coming there will be fewer and fewer 900's in mint condition. I'd like to keep the legacy going! Im doing my part! Ride safe and congrats on the buy man!!! Your buying one hell of a bike!!!! :-)

Dude..... don't worry, I understand how rare this bike is. I will try not to mix and match it...

The only reason I ask cloud that question is for the bike's sake, I want to put frame sliders on it. I can't find any of them that does not require drilling the mid fairing..... The only way for me to keep the bike its original way, is save the current flawless fairing. I just bought the mid fairings, going to repaint them and drill holes to put up sliders, and decal it the way it is.....

ThusI get to keep the original body work... i know it sucks, but I think that's the best way to do.....

or... if you guys know where I can find frame sliders that doesn't require drilling, that would be awesome!!!! Please let me know!!!

I gotch ya, unfort there is no way on the 900 to get sliders on there without drilling. I just hate to see a beautiful bike have to have "second hand" fairings on it so you can have sliders on it. I def understand the reasoning behind it and you ARE smart for doing it. Just make it look good! lol good luck and hopfully it works out well. Ride safe and keep the rubber down!

Yeah the fairings that we are putting on are lightly rashed. So after a little bit of sanding, priming and painting plus new decals no one will be the wiser. And he is holding on to the stock originals in case he needs them

yeah... I am so freaking worry about messing this bike up... My oldZX6 is great, but the fairing had been re-painted number of times so it looks like crap, if I drop it it might look better....... but if i drop the RR... IT WILL HURT!!! not to mention Cloudbreak might murder me... LOL

going to take some time learn this bike in parking lot before I take it to street!!! Hope everything works out well!!!

Guess we will have to take our "new" bikes out together.
