I have had my 95 CBR 900 RR for about 4 years now and it is my favorite bike I have owned or ridden to date. Only problem I have had with it is the fact that the whole bike will shut down for unknown reasons. I have taken the bike into a couple of shops and they said there was nothing wrong with it. It will start and run fine but will completely shut down after a short bit of riding. Needless to say, I have not ridden much at all this last year in fear of being stranded again. I have changed the battery twice already and know that is not the problem. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, please let me know
I have a '95, purple and black. I have owned a GS450, '74 CB 750K, '79 CB750F, and now the RR. I've had it for a little over a year now. Love it. 32,000 miles. Motor rebuilt at 30,750. Full D&D exhaust, K&N filter, stage 2 jet kit. It has been known to get out of it's own way.

Hey, nice_z71Check the fuel pump cut out relay under the seat. Ride it a little around town, if it shuts off, check to see if the relay is getting warm. It may be the relay or bad wiring going to it. Been there.
i guess im #82... corey from central pa... 96' 900rr with 98' motor powdercoated rims, full erion racing exhaust... it was nice till the night i went to pick it up... the dude dropped it like 15 minutes before i showed up to get it, so its a project for the winter... previous bikes were a 95' zx6r, 99' gixxer 750, and a 03' r6... and 2 200x three wheelers
I'm either 84 or 127 according to the posts on the last page. There were 2 posts claiming 82. Anyway, 93 900rr in the works. Shaved turn signals, tail light strobe, two brothers full exhaust, polished frame.

..jet kit on the way ..full erion racing exhaust ...K&N filter ..down one up front ...pics soon
