Have anyone try these Honda motor oil? Are these any good? Any suggestion appreciated...thank you

Just guessin: If the "W/Moly" means is has molybdenum as an additive... nobody

 

Reason I'm asking is one seller on eBay is selling 1 case of 12 quarts for about $4-$5 each quart. Freeshipping. Less than $60 you can get 12 quarts ship to your door. That's more than 3 oil Change for my RR. he says he only have a few case left. Are these synthetic?

 

I have purchase 12 quart of Pro Honda HP4M with moly. Before proceeding to use oil, I did some search online and realized Moly can cause premature clutch slipping?

I don't know if I should use these? Especially I own a older model 1994 CBR with 25K?

i would stay away with it because of the moly in it. I just stick to the generic honda gn4 for my bike and have never had a problem

After using HP4M on my 900rr for about 1 week now, I notice immediate power. Shifting feel softer, more smooth quiet. High rev feels great, not rough. I'll keep updating every 500mile or so...but so far I am very happy with HP4M pro Honda race oil 20w 50

 

Ok, today i finally have the chance to really test ride my 900rr. I've put in 120miles highway + local street. I was doubtful at first regarding the use of Pro-honda HP4M 20W 50 motor oil which claims immediately horsepower increase. Until after today's test ride, I am 100% convince it's not a con. Throttle respond is ridiculous...2nd gear I was able to exceed 60mph, 3rd gear 90mph effortless. I then cruise in 6th gear...once throttle, in matter of seconds, I'm at 120mph....and i felt there was still power but I must forfeit. Wants the point of pushing the blade it's limit? ( I don't want to do anything stupid and kill myself) the engine sound crisp...like I never heard before and I was running full synthetic for the past 4 years (mobil 1 & Lucas 20W 50)

Gear shifting was very smooth, hardly felt any kick or weird joilt.

Now for the most concerning myth of all is that moly cause clutch slippage? My blade is a 94' (17 years old) with 24k. Clutch felt responsive, nothing out of the ordinary. Sportsrider did issue a report regarding moly itself will not cause clutch slippage...so I guess they are right. Many synthetic oils out there does contain moly...but don't label it on package. Pro Honda HP4M does label w/moly. My blade is a Honda & owners manual calls for HP4. Therefore my blade is responding very good to HP4M....

I am so happy with this oil....feels like the blade is running like new....

 

The HP4M caused my clutch to start slipping at 10K miles, I switched to Lucas after a clutch change and never had a problem and she had 23K on the clock when I sold her

 

So, how long did you use HP4M before clutch start slipping? How many miles? I'm going on 600 miles or so with HP4M. The sports rider report say it's simple as switching back to HP4...
