Hello, I just bought a 96 900RR that has a torn off stater cover from a crash. I noticed it took a peace of the lower case with it as well.
Can I replace the lower case and the stater cover cheaply or should I just bite the bullet and buy a used engine. Any advice would be helpful.

take a pic of the broken piece. theres a good chance you could repair the case.
