hayubusa vs 1000rr
Interesting match up here don't your think? I'm very interested in both of these bikes so any help from my fellow 900rr owners on which one would be a better fit for me I'm about 6'1 205 I'm more of a point and shoot rider but I don't mind the twisties I would also consider myself an above average rider (which is the reason I want to move up in size, power I know the power of the hayabusa is legendary but so is hondas reliability plus I here the 1000rr is also a beast in itself anyways opinions welcome. i guess it all depends on if you waunt light speed or refinement. don't get me wrong the rr is quite fast but not as fast as a bussa. however the rr out classes the bussa with it's refinement and rock solid reliability. i am a true honda guy and personally would go w/the rr, besides i think that the rr looks way better(styling). it's just my opinion.
I've had both and if I were to pick just one, I'd go with a busa. It's a great all around bike. It wont be nearly as nimble as a 1000rr but they still handle pretty well considering their size. The busa is a great all around bike. It cruises down the highway fantastic, delivers power very smoothly, the engine runs very smooth.....I could go on forever...but in short, if I were to own only 1 bike, it would be a Hayabusa.

My opinion is you should figure out what kind of bike you want before you start shopping. The two you've mentioned are as different as a Corvette and a Mercedes SL. And if you were really "above average" you'd know the differences already, and be able to make the decision yourself.

Personally, it would be the Honda for me but I know people that love their Busa's. I have to agree with the comment above about them being such totally different bikes, strange comparison at best.

Very well put
Sold a turbo busa for the 1kRR ... have had plenty of fun on both.
Which is better for you is a personal decision ... either will fit you fine.
I'm 6' and 195ish and no problems on either.

Are you talking bout the 08 models or theolder one?
I had to admit the 08 model of the busa have some radical changes of stlye from its predessor. And the older rr is still one of the best looking bike compare to its 08 model.
