Just recentley bought a 1996 CBR 900 FireBlade...MUCH quiker than my 2004, Suzuki GS500F.
I bought it as a fixer upper, actually doesn't need that much work. It has a sorta sponge filter that reads, UNI. After cleaning the filter it gives a nice whistling sound when I open up the throttle. Also, the exhaust reads Viper, and it's kinda cromed out.
Has anyone heard of this air filter or exhaust??? Is it aftermarket or stock?
If anyone can help, Thanx in advance.

 

I've got a UNI filter on my bike now. It's not bad, but, I'd much rather rock a K&N.

 

Neither are stock. Honda's stock exhausts are unmarked.

 

UNI is a good filter, altho i prefer K&N...

 

i used them viper pipes on many a bike over here in lreland..good sound from an economy exhaust..theres a few local dealers over here..think they are an english company
