Default Good weather and no ride sucks

It is a very sad day when it is beautiful outside and can't ride..... my CBR 900 is actually in the shop undergoing a bit of emergency surgery fixing some of her issues before I can ride her again

new tires, fixing the leaking front left shock, trying to clean her for the season, and general maintenance as well

Yeah, it's tough!

A few years back, I had mine apart for the valve adjustment, had reached a sticking point, and got even more distraught because I could hear the local sport bikes ripping up and down the highway near my house. Almost started crying... lol.

I got very lucky last summer and scooped up a little CRF 230M! I can't believe I'm saying this but, on public streets, I'm enjoying it more than the CBR. Now, if one is down, I am happy to have a back-up!

Progress is being made but it is slow going. but take one step forward two steps back right at the moment...... i have the exhaust leak fixed now, all the fairings are clean, the left front shock has been replaced, wheels are shined up, but now i have to replace a stretched clutch cable. good thing is though that the cable is only 20 bucks and wont be too bad to replace with all the plastics still off the bike

front left shock replaced

front wheel

rear wheel

front section plastics

tail section plastics

Man, and I thought yellow wheels were hard to keep clean. I can't imagine white!

was a bit cool for my tastes on the road but DAMN does that thing feel responsive as hell with new tires on her. didnt get into many curves tonight due to brand new tires but i didnt feel her wandering around like i did with the old tires. tightened up the chain fixed a couple small issues with her and just went for a relaxing yet therapeutic cruise around my hometown
