gear box upgrades. ?? any
i have a 97 900rr

the gearbox i guess is screwed. goes to a false neutral ect until i tap it down and never pops out of the gears, is there any upgrades for this problem

I am using one of these, and it makes for more positive and better feeling shifts. If your forks or drum are already screwed though, you might need a rebuild. You can try this though, it worked for me.

I lost second gear about two years ago. I removed the engine removed the lower crank case. replaced the shift drum (damaged) and one shift fork. my second gear was also crap I sent the gear to fastbygas and they rebuilt it and undercut it for about $80. this is a deal because just to get an oem fear was $60.

so far the gearbox shifts better than new. and this includes hard 10k rpm shifts.
