Front wire harness...
As you can tell from my posts, I have a bike that was used and abused. There is alot of wires jumbled up near the headlights on my bike, and the fuse block isn't mounted anywhere. Alot of the wires were hanging down near the front tire, and I pulled them up above the horn, but it just looks awful.
Where are you guys hiding these wires and how are they supposed to be organized?
Also.. My headlights do not work, I know there is a 20A fuse missing.. But i'm just curious if there is a reason to this - maybe the fuse kept blowing for the past owner.
Anyways, thanks for all the help thus far in restoring this bad girl.

You're gonna have to just look them over and try bundling them in a logical pattern.
Seperate out the various functions into simple bundles that you can route to the
correct places. Most auto stores sell wiring loom. It slips over the wires you want to
bundle and then use heat-shrink tubing on the end of the runs to clean/secure it all.
You may have to do some cut and/or splicing to get things where they belong.
Best tools there, is a soldering iron and heat-shrink slipped over the joints.
Here's a link to a site for any connectors you may need to give it that factory-fresh look/function, as well....
OEM-Type Bullet & Spade Electrical Connectors for 1960's through 1970's Japanese Vehicles... Bridgestone, Datsun, Hodaka, Honda, Kawasaki, Landcruiser, Suzuki, Tohatsu, VW, & Yamaha
Hope this helps, Ern

That helped alot and I did get it looking alot better. However, my headlights do not work. There are no wires going to the fuse block for a headlight fuse. My low beams do not work, but my left high beam does. There is a box up front that has something with a speed ( fast slow drag bar ) dual or single settings, and off settings. I put it on single, and i'm not really sure if it's for my headlights or turn signals.
I will post a pic shortly.

The wires from this go directly to the battery where there is a inlet 15amp fuse, and to the bottom of the headlight assembly which I believe goes to the high beams. The reason the right one does not work i assume is because the wire is broke near the bottom of the headlight assembly.
Any ideas why my low beams are out?
I'm guessing on this but a lot of the dual-headlights use hi for one side,
low for the other. There is only a single element in each housing. Have you checked
the bulb in the one that isn't working? If it's bad, it may BE your low beam and simple
replacement will fix your problem.
I'm also unfamiliar with your "black-box". Have you tried fixing the wire you mentioned,
to see if that fixes the issue? The box might be a ballast, if the head-lights have
been up-graded. Look for a part # or manufacturer mark on it. See if that gives
you a lead.
