Front End Wobble, Need Help!!!!
Heres the deal, since i bought my1999about a year ago ive noticed the front end would wobble slightly through 60-50mph when letting off the gas and letting go of the handlebars. Ive recently been experimenting with wheelies and have been doing them whenever i can, even though im not hitting BP yet i still have, every now and than, come down on the front end a little hard. Lately ive noticed my problem getting worse with more violent shakes and wobbles now about 70-50mph.
My front tire is worn and needs to be replaced soon so when i do that ill make sure to double check the straightness of the wheel, but since its getting worse with the wheelie situation i was wondering if the fork/shocks could cause these wobbles or if its just probably a tire/rim???
Also, if it is a rim, can i upgrade to a 17 inch rim on a 99??? i know the popular f3 swap but i dont think that works for the 98-99
Thanks for the help

agreed, another thing you will need to replace if you're going to be coming down hard on the front end a lot is new steering bearings for your upper and lower triple tree. Dont get the ball ones, get the ones that have the fixed cone shape bearings, much better... cant remember who makes them though

+1 get the front wheel rebalanced. If that doesn't fix it you may have bad head bearings, improperly inflated tires, or your setting on your forks me be different than one another.
